TEA, SENSES & MEMORY: A JOURNALING RITUAL

After a day of tasting and exploring at the Amsterdam Tea Festival, give yourself a moment to slow down and undo the day.

What memories, places, people or stories can a particular taste, scent or sensation bring back?

In this sensory journaling workshop, you'll put pen to paper and use tea as an invitation to pause, reconnect with yourself and see where your thoughts and imagination might lead. Through guided sensory exploration and playful freewriting, you'll discover what a simple sip of tea can set in motion. Here’s what you’ll do:

• Tune into your senses and notice the unexpected connections that arise as you savour your tea
• Follow a series of guided freewriting prompts and exercises to capture the stories that surface
• Turn your impressions into a collection of personal and honest reflections

When was the last time you gave yourself the space to sit down, put pen to paper and explore what was on your mind? Sometimes, all it takes is a little moment to yourself, a cup of tea and a welcoming space to let your thoughts wander. You'll write alongside kindred spirits, but there's absolutely no pressure to share what you put on the page. Your words are yours to keep, unless you feel called to share them.

Price: €35 per person

Included: A 90-minute guided journaling workshop, sensory exercises and journaling materials. Feel free to bring your own journal and favourite pen.

Level: Beginner-friendly and open to all levels. No previous journaling or creative writing experience is needed. Come as you are. We'll meet you on the page.
