Have you ever tasted the diverse flavors of Korean teas?
The taste of Korean tea in general strikes the perfect balance between the Chinese flavor profile of sweetness, such as Oolong, and the strong, earthy Dark teas.
And Japanese steamed tea with delicate grassy and nutty notes, such as Sencha.
Korean tea combines the freshness of Japanese tea with the depth and complexity of Chinese tea.
The gentle flavor is unobtrusive and is a tea that is suitable for any occasion.
In Korea, green tea Nokcha and black tea Hongcha are categorized after the harvest season, which defines both the flavor and what is harvested.
This workshop takes you on a flavorful journey through Korea's tea cultivation and will give you an insight into the diversity of Korean tea on the Korean mainland.
What you’ll do:
- Tasting a wide selection of Korean teas from a variety of Korean tea producers.
Outcome: This workshop takes you on a flavorful journey through tea cultivation in Korea and offers you a glimpse into the diversity of Korean tea as well as the history of tea on the Korean mainland.
Price: €35 per person
Included: Tasting of various types of tea that are not available in Europe, or are rarely found there.

- Duration: about 120 minutes. Please be at the workshop table 5 minutes before the start.
- Small group: 24 seats per session.
