Superior Dancong Tea Tasting (New Harvest)

Curated especially for Gong Fu Cha lovers, this festival-limited tasting session offers a rare opportunity to experience top-quality Dancong varieties cherished by local tea masters and connoisseurs in Chaozhou, including exceptional Dancong and Danzhu (single-tree) teas that reflect award-winning craftsmanship and distinctive character.

Local tea practitioner Macey will guide you through an authentic Chaozhou Gong Fu Cha cha xi, the traditional tea-table setting. As the rhythm of each infusion unfolds, you will discover how different Dancong teas express their own aromas, clarity, silky texture, mouthfeel, and aftertaste. You will also experience how the stove, kettle, small teapots, small cups, tea tray, and other tools are arranged and used within the Chaozhou Gong Fu Cha.

Each movement from awakening the leaves and controlling the brew to pouring, sharing, and receiving the tea with attention invites you​ to go deeper into your own bodily and inner experience of the finest Dancong teas, allowing them to reveal their most satisfying expression.
The teas will be freshly picked by Master Lin and Macey on the mountains of Chaozhou, making this the first opportunity to taste the 2027 new harvest.
