Most visitors have never heard of it, yet nearly everyone remembers it after the first sip. Our mission

Serenitea exists to introduce people to exceptional tea they didn’t know they were missing. We believe the best products don’t need long ingredient lists or exaggerated health claims—they simply need to taste amazing.

I discovered roasted buckwheat tea while travelling and quickly made it part of my daily routine. When I returned to the Netherlands, I couldn’t find it anywhere. The idea stayed with me for years until I finally decided to build the brand myself.

Today, our mission is to make buckwheat tea a familiar choice across the Netherlands and Europe, creating small moments of calm with one beautifully simple ingredient.

Meet Serenitea at the Amsterdam Tea Festival!

We’re introducing one of the world’s best-kept tea secrets: roasted buckwheat tea.

Despite the name, it’s not made from tea leaves. It’s a naturally caffeine-free infusion crafted from roasted buckwheat seeds, with comforting notes of warm biscuits, toasted grains and caramel.

We started Serenitea after discovering buckwheat tea abroad and realising it simply wasn’t available in the Netherlands. Today, we’re on a mission to change that.
