Ticket Refund & Exchange Policy

By purchasing a ticket to the Amsterdam Tea Festival 2026, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

The event takes place on Saturday, January 31, 2026.

1. Ticket Transfers and Credit Options (Before Deadline)

You have the following options if you are no longer able to attend (before the refund deadline):

• Transfer your ticket to someone else. You can give your ticket to a friend or family member. Please contact us with their full name and email address so we can update the attendee list.
• Request a shop credit., you may choose to receive a full credit in the form of a voucher to spend at the Moychay tea shop in Amsterdam (valid for both tea products and events). Please contact us before the deadline to request this.

2. Refund Eligibility

Tickets purchased for the tea festival are non refundable. You can email us to change it to a store credit in case you are not able to attend, before 2 November 2025.

3. How to Request a Credit or ticket transfer

Please send an email to: [email protected]

Include the following information:

• Your full name
• The email address used to purchase the ticket
• Your order number
• Whether you are requesting a credit, or ticket transfer

Credit vouchers for Moychay Amsterdam will be sent via email.

4. Legal Note on Refund Exceptions

In accordance with Article 6:230p sub e of the Dutch Civil Code, the standard 14-day EU right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services (such as festivals and cultural events) that are tied to a specific date.

“The right of withdrawal does not apply to the provision of services related to leisure activities, if the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.”

Therefore, organizers are legally permitted to set their own refund policies for dated events.
