Our founder, Sergey Shevelev, spends up to half of each year traveling through world tea regions in search of the finest teas. We only source all our goods directly, constantly upgrading our collection, which already has hundreds of rare tea varieties. We also produce our own tea in Georgia and Thailand, further expanding our understanding of diverse terroirs and traditions.

Moychay is an international tea company headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Our mission is to promote and develop traditional tea culture while sourcing and sharing the most unique and rare teas from countries such as China, Japan, Georgia, Vietnam and other countries. With over 20 years of experience in the world of tea, we continue to deepen our knowledge and expertise through constant exploration.

About the brand

Moychay.nl Tea Culture Club, based in Amsterdam, shares loose-leaf tea culture through calm, accessible tea tasting experiences focused on slowing down, brewing, and connection. We work directly with farmers and producers across Asia, offer more than 200 teas, and maintain our own tea production in Georgia and Thailand under the guidance of founder Sergey Shevelev, who brings over 20 years of tea expertise. At Amsterdam Tea Festival, we will present a carefully selected range of teas, handmade teaware, and wood-fired ceramics, while guiding visitors through simple and meaningful tea tastings they can recreate at home.
